Soon the plastic cover on the top started melting and caught on fire ! She thought we would have to either buy a new one or have it fixed. No Way and No problem - This site that had the part and the assembly diagram. Under this cover there were no exposed internal parts and the defect didn't interfere with the fan, so we could still use it. Joe C Washington , IL December 17, 2015 I had a small fire in my microwave when i accidentally set the cook time for 4:30 instead of setting the timer smooth I realized that only the plastic casing for the fan blades had been ruined. I was able to located the model # of the microwave and order a replacement fan. A little over $5 and a half hour later, and my microwave had been fixed and reinstalled. Saved me hundreds of dollars.
