Description

This friction damper acts as a shock absorber attached to the wash tub, dampening excessive vibration and movement during the spin cycle. It helps stabilize the tub to reduce noise and prevent the washer from walking or shaking. Replace this part if your washer vibrates excessively, makes loud banging noises during spin, or rocks side to side more than normal.
