Lg ADC73047903 Door Assembly OEM Part

This washer was seven years old. I noticed the crack while bending over but there was no leak. I could have made a mark to see if the crack was propagating but if that took too long there was a risk that LG would no longer carry the door assembly. I opted to replace it right away. The new door was manufactured by LG and fit perfectly. I had to get help in holding the door in position while refastening the hinges. This could not be done by a single person because of the perfect alignment of the moderately heavy door. The hinges consisted of four small white plastic inserts. The new door only came with one insert and I had to reuse three from the old door. The only problem was the mfr would only supply new inserts with a whole new door and I did not want to mail back the replacement and go through the trouble of mailing it back in the midst of the pandemic (I live in New York City) and have to deal with a second installation. So I kept the old inserts.
