Michael G Flower Mound , TX July 18, 2015 Front door gasket was very dirty and could notbe cleaned Remove spring clamp on door. Open front panel, pop out drain door, removed 5 screws total to take off front panel and one plug. Took off other spring clamp. Challenge was install to properly insert new seal. Thought it was the wrong part at first but with persistence it work great and is much better than previous design. David M Carlsbad , CA May 06, 2019 Appliance: LG Washer WM1832CW Sounded like a freight train on spin cycle. Ordered the 5 parts listed - 2 bearings, seal, spider, and boot to replace the old one covered in mildew. We followed your video closely and were able to disassemble the washer while taking pictures of the electrical connections for the assembly process. We took our time and were able to get everything back in place. The only real problem we had was installing the boot on the inside of the tub. Once we oriented the boot and wrapped it over the inner lip, we had a very difficult time latching the ring. There must be a special tool that enables someone to grab the ring on both ends and secure it by pulling the 2 ends together and locking them. Not a good way to end an otherwise flawless fix.
