Getting to it was relatively easy, though the power cord for the new motor was a lot shorter than the old one, so I had to cut the wires and splice it in - which was a little bit of a pain. Second issue was that the shaft for the new motor was longer than the old one and the fan was rubbing in the housing. So I drilled out the end of the fan blade so that the new shaft could push thru and let the fan blade move closer to the motor so it would stop rubbing.
