Terry D Akron , OH April 11, 2017 Appliance: LG Washer WM2010CW Lg washer would not drain I sat an watched a wash cycle. When it came to drain cycle I could hear the pump making a grinding noise! Door bellow seal leaked too. I ordered new pump and housing, new door bellows seal. The clearance of the pump impeller and housing are real important. I have jet Skies and I knew it is an issue. Watched the video on the repair. Gave me all the instructions to take it apart. One thing it did not show. Lube the new seal mating surface with laundry detergent. It went right on. I have never paid a repair man to fix an appliance. You can do it ! This site has helped me many a time! Daniel G Chelmsford , MA November 21, 2016 Appliance: Model LG2010CW Smoke from washer damaged rubber door seal I found some information on YouTube that suggested the rubber seal was damaged because the bearings were bad... could be seen by rotating the drum by hand and seeing it spin off balance. Then I found the parts online and www.appliancepartspros.com had the parts at a good price, but more importantly had video walkthroughs of the installation. The parts cost me about $115, new bearings, a new door seal, tub housing seal, and bearing seal. They arrived in no time, but I did pay a couple more dollars for 2 day so I could have it by the weekend. I followed the video and did each step one at a time. It makes the whole process a lot easier. There are a few differences between my washer and the one shown in the. Keep so I did have a few places where I had to do a little research but what a life saver the video was. I'm a handy guy, but trying to tackle this with just the parts diagrams would have been a tough job. I am very happy that we didn't have to buy a new washer and can save that money for a while. I would recommendthis website to anyone that has the energy and tools to do the job. Watch the video while you do the job and follow it step by step, the one thing you skip will have you going back again... also the video is tough to navigate on a phone (jumps in 3min intervals, so you may want to try a laptop or iPad to see if gat helps so you can diss the the video better while doing the work. Thank you APP! I'm very happy to complete this job Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Nut Drivers, Pliers, Screwdrivers, Socket Set
