Sonja C Parachute , CO September 17, 2021 EL My front loader LG washing machine wasn’t working correctly. The clothes were either coming out unwashed or completely dripping. When turning the washer on it would start up like normal and the turn off a few minutes in. Initially it was not displaying an error code, this made it very difficult to diagnose. One of the kids started a load not knowing we are having issues and it started making a clunking cringing noise, when I went to investigate the EL code was up. A few YouTube videos later and I was pretty confident it was either the wiring harness or the rotor position sensor switch. Lucky it was the RPS because I ordered the wrong wiring harness. It was very easy to remove the back panel of the washer pull the stator off the back of the tub to get to the sensor. Read More...
