Gaston B Lakewood , CA September 14, 2019 Appliance: Model LG WM2050CW Cloths washer would hesitate to spin and code l8 I replaced a rotor position sensor switch and harness. It was a simple repair. Tools required cross tip head screwdriver, 10mm and 17mm socket, and rachet. Also had o replace 2 zip ties that held the harness in place. Prior to repair, I watched a video on Appliance Parts Pros website. It was very helpful and informative. One last thing, the persons who answer the calls are very helpful. Stephen W Atlanta , GA May 17, 2021 LE error code on LG front load washer Replaced wiring harness and rotor position sensor by opening back panel, removing one bolt for rotor cover, then 5 bolts on rotor. Unplugging harness and removing it. Snapping off old sensor and snapping on new one then reassembly. Only glitch was a grounding screw had snapped off requiring a new hole to be drilled. Read More...
