Brian M Baltimore , MD February 11, 2021 Appliance: LG Gas Range LDG3035ST F19 error code on LG natural gas double oven. We were getting an intermittent F19 code on our lower oven mainly. This code gets triggered when the oven fails to heat up to a minimum temperature within a specific amount of time. I figured this was being caused by an ignition failure so I bought this new ignitor. As it turns out, if you have a double oven then you will have two ignitors. Just keep that in mind in case you are thinking about replacing both or you are seeing errors in both ovens. The ignitor in the lower oven is located below the metal panel at the bottom of the oven. The ignitor in the upper oven is located at the top. To access the lower ignitor you need to remove the blue metal panel which is held in with two black screws. Once removed the panel will slide out. Next, you will see a silver-colored sheet metal panel. This also needs to be removed and is held in with several sheet metal screws. Next, you will see the burner assembly, and attached to this assembly will be the ignitor. I removed the entire assembly and unplugged the old ignitor. Simply screw the new ignitor onto the burner assembly and reassemble all the parts in the opposite order. Once reassembled, I turned on the oven and immediately saw the orange glow from the ignitor and the oven ignited and started coming up to temperature in less than 30 seconds. If everything goes to plan you should be able to complete the repair with just a Phillips screwdriver. The old ignitor disintegrated when removing so that told me it was probably past its lifetime. The ignitor is held onto the burner assembly with two screws. When I was removing the ignitor the threads on one of the screws stripped out and wouldn't come out so I cut with a hacksaw and replaced with another screw. Just be prepared for the possibility of needing to pull from your stash of nuts and bolts or run out to the big orange store. Stephen C Canal Winchester , OH November 24, 2023 Appliance: LG Gas Range LDG4315ST/00 LG f19 error lower oven. LG LDG4315ST - Lower Oven No heat with error code F19. I removed the lower oven's outer burner cover and began taking off the inner cover. There are (5) screws that secure the inner cover, with one on the bottom middle. You have to lift the assembly to expose the screw, but I wasn't able to unscrew it due to clearance issues. A little side to side rocking and it came out, which exposes the burner and igniter. I depressed the door safety, set the lower oven temperature and hit start, but the original igniter didn't glow and I verified it was the problem. I unplugged the oven and attempted to pull down the igniter's wiring, but was unable to. The igniter's connector was stuck and there didn't seem to be any way to reach it. I removed the larger lower back cover, which exposed the igniter's connector. It was secured by a factory wire tie, which verified my concerns of pulling on it. I unclipped the connector and tried to push the connector past the nozzle/burner assembly, but it was too large to fit through. I removed the nozzle screw that secures the burner to it and returned to the front. I removed the three burner screws and pulled the burner towards me and removed it with the bad igniter. I installed the new igniter and pushed the wiring back through first and lightly secured the burner with 1 screw on the left. I went to the backside and secured the burner to the gas nozzle to test the system. I plugged the oven in, depressed the safety, set the temp, and hit start and the new igniter glowed immediately. I stopped the oven, unplugged it, and began putting everything back together. Overall, not a terrible job. A low-torque electrical screwdriver would make it go faster for the back cover screws. Brian S Crawfordsville , IN September 06, 2014 Appliance: Model LRG3095ST Lg convection oven f 11 error code We had been having issue's with it not heating up. Some times it would heat up fine, other times real slow, and other times not at all. I went to home depot looking at a new stove when I came across the "Appliance Repair Advice For DIY" Flyer. After getting that advice, I started looking for a replacement Igniter. I did a search for the Igniter, and came across your sight. Liked your rating's and service. Ordered it Monday night and had the part Wednesday afternoon. That is perfect. Had the old one taken out and new one put in in just under an hour. First try heating up, heated up to 175 in 2 minutes. Perfect again! Thanks AppliancePartsPros.com! Read More... 78 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers, Socket Set, Wrench Set
Giuseppe A Scotch Plains , NJ September 19, 2016 Appliance: Model LG3095ST F11 error Kept getting an occasional F11 Error, sometimes doing a reboot worked but over time it got worse and worse. Since the reboot no longer worked I surmised it was more likely an igniter than the main control board. So I replace the Igniter.....problem solved!
