Kwang J Rockville , MD October 25, 2014 Appliance: Model LG LRE30955ST Lg lre30955st one broil element not on I call LG recommended repair Eagle Star to fix, this company did not come on first appointment, I called again and he come on second appointment and checked my range on broil element said it is ok and called AppliancePartspros.com to ordered indicator PCBAP5044905 total102.68,charged me 65 dallars and said he will come to fixthe range when PCB arrived,ithe PCB was on back order I waited two weeks to receive this PCB,I called Eagle Star 8 times telling him PCB received and wanted him come to fix.he just said I will call you but never call and come,so I have to go on line find out way to replace this PCB,after my 2 hours working on replacing this PCB,the cooktop broil element is still not on so I know the problem is not this PCB I replace the new PCB with my old PCB back,start live chat with your pro he said if the element is ok,next possible problem could be ditrib uting PCB AP4447450 so I order this PCB and it arrived within a week,so I replaced this PCB,unfortunately the broil element is still not working so I replace this PCB back and go online to chat with your Pro again we could not figured out unless the wiring was wrong,so I open the cooktop and checked the wiring with my multimeter the wiring were prefect so I have to go to check the element input voltage I found there is incoming voltage to the element terminals,so I think the last check is to take the broil element out and finally I saw a burnt thermal contact on the element so I order the broil element and replaced the broil element,this problem is fixed,I appreciate all the live chat pros,they tried all they can to help me,and also you customer service is so great to help me handle the order and return,one poor repair Eagle star caused so many unnecessary efforts Read More...
