Lg MEE36592904 Sheath Heater OEM Part

I ordered the both the Pcb assembly and a heater sheath. Upon accessing the Pcb, I immediately discovered it had failed miserably, (contacts burnt and melted, wiring and insulation on one wire suffered severe electrical damage. To put it bluntly a small electrical fire had occurred on the circuit board. There was enough slack in the damaged wire so I removed the affected area, replaced the terminal. Replacing the Pcb was a snap. Disconnect the power, remove the rear cover, prior to removing the Pcb wires, take a quick photo of the wire terminal location on the Pcb, remove, a few screws that mount the Pcb to the rear of the oven. Carefully remove the Pcb from its mounting frame and replace with the new Pcb. Mount the Pcb to the rear and reconnect. At this point I powered up the oven to see if this step cleared the problem and It did. "DANGER", With the rear cover removed and power applied, you are exposing yourself to life threatening voltage levels. Electrical safety is crucial! The heater sheath worked and I did not need to replace it. But since I purchased it, I replaced it. Prior to replacing the rear cover I removed all electrical power until I completed the installation.

I searched everywhere for the right part and it was so difficult. Only website that the part was perfect.

Replaced the heater sheath. Oven is working fine.

Replaced the element.
