I replaced all the parts that were associated with the door lock. Also while there, put in a new charcoal filter. Took it apart and ended up breaking the bracket that that three switches were mounted on. So I ordered the necessary parts to fix and it went fairly well as we live in the country so we learn how to do some of these things ourselves as it would have been cheaper to just replace the unit than to repair.
