Took it apart and ended up breaking the bracket that that three switches were mounted on. So I ordered the necessary parts to fix and it went fairly well as we live in the country so we learn how to do some of these things ourselves as it would have been cheaper to just replace the unit than to repair. Danny O Little Rock , AR August 29, 2026 Microwave would not come on intermittenly or would stop heating but still show the timer counting First tried just to replace the top door switch and it was still not consistently working. So order the whole holder assembly. When installing the new part, noticed there was a clip towards the bottom that I didn't see before. I believe the first fix probably would have worked had I snapped that in. But the new piece came with new switches so felt better about installing the new holder to at least have all the switches updated. The two screws that tighten down the holder could use a stubby screwdriver or some ratchet set up. Estimated time was for both repairs. When trying to replace just the door switch, the wires didn't separate very well and ended up breaking the switch I was replacing anyway, Read More...
