Charles W Union , KY January 13, 2025 Appliance: Model LG LDP6809SS Lg ldp6809ss dishwasher clip that holds lower rack tines in place part broke I didn't use any tools. I pulled the lower rack out of dishwasher, studied the clip opposite side of tines (still working), and based upon observation, installed replacement part. Without the new clip the tines wouldn't stay secure to hold dishes in place. My only issue is the online schematic illustration. Because I couldn't tell from the illustration, exactly what I needed, I over-ordered replacement parts. I decided to keep the extra parts - just in case! any type of service call would have cost double or triple the cost of the parts purchased. I marvel at the ingenuity of these small parts.
