Description

The Freezer Drawer Rail is an OEM component for select LG refrigerators.  Its operatation allows access to frozen foods.  

Causes of a bad rail could include debris accumulation, ice buildup, or physical damage that hinders smooth sliding. Over time, continuous usage may also cause wear of moving parts.

Symptoms of a failed freezer drawer rail include: 

  • Resistance or stiffness when opening/closing drawers
  • Noisy, squeaking, or grinding sounds  
  • Drawers that do not fully extend or retract
  • Drawers detaching from the rail mechanism

Holder rail in freezer broke.

Had the model number of the refrigerator and went on the web looking for a diagram to find the part that I needed. Found and bought the rails and attached the new one in the freezer. Very easy fix.
