Description

The Icemaker is an OEM replacement part for LG refrigerators with built-in ice production.This component is responsible for producing and dispensing ice cubes. It functions by filling the ice mold with water, freezing it into ice cubes, and then ejecting them into the ice storage bin, ready for dispensing.

Causes of an inadequate icemaker can include scale or mineral buildup affecting internal mechanisms over several years of use. The water filter may also need replacing to keep the icemaker running smoothly.
