Eugene T Walnut Cove , NC January 22, 2015 Appliance: LG Air Conditioner HBLG1200H Noisy bearings I replaced the motor. This was not an easy job for the average do-it your-self-er. The unit was a window heat and cool air conditioner made by Hampton Bay. I have used this unit every day in either the heat or cool mode and the bearing started to go out about 3 years ago. I put up with for a long time. But thanks to AppliancePartsPros, I was able to get the exact replacement motor. But the unit required total disassemble to access the motor. it has 2 fans, a heat strip and all of the capillary tubes that carry the freon that must carefully be managed to prevent damage. It took me 3 hours to get it apart and about 45 minutes to get it back together. But, the unit works as good as when it was new.
