Kraig W San Ramon , CA June 01, 2026 Appliance: Kenmore Gas Range 72176033610 The smoke colored see through plastic touchscreen had cracked and a cracked piece had fallen out which distorted the readout numbers After going through the manufacturer for the part number needed to replace it. I ordered one through appliance parts pro even though there was no picture to see if it was the exact needed part. Fears disappeared when the part showed up and it was exactly what I needed. Unplugged range and then took off back plate. I unscrewed all the electronics and unscrewed assembly that included screen that needed replacement. The only issue was a ribbon wire that needed to be detached out of its fitting on the broken assembly and put back on new assembly but that was figured out with common sense and replugged in very easily. Bolted new in one with perfect fit and reattached all electronics, back plate and plugged it back in. Works and looks like new. Read More...
