Benton Z New Braunfels , TX November 19, 2019 Appliance: LG Refrigerator LFC25760SB/00 Incandescent bulbs fried my refer control pcb I could no longer control the temperature in either the frig or the freezer. The frig was stuck at 32 and freezer at 0. So FIRST - I replaced the incandescents with 2700K 60W equivalent LEDs (if I had to do it again, I'd use 5000K LEDs). I figured the problem was most likely with the PCB in the frig compartment, so I ordered a replacement from APP. After removing the housing from the frig (2 screws and a FIRM pull downwards. I did NOT turn off power to the frig - but then as an EE I'm not afraid of electricity - but I DO treat it with respect) I gently removed the control board overlay - then the 3 screws retaining the control board PCB. Loosened the clips, popped out the old board and installed the new. Put it back in the Frig and it worked like a champ :) :) Read More... 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
