Mary W Northridge , CA November 10, 2014 Appliance: Model LMX25985ST Our lg refrig's control panel stopped working although the internal temperature of the refrig & freezer was functional the control panel stopped producing water & dispensing water We've called a few service centers, and received discouraging feedback & costly estimates. When I called APPro, I spoke with Andrew, and he diagnosed that the front panel needed replacement. He was very helpful, and indicated that the panel shouldn't be too difficult to repair. Once we received the part, my husband tried the remove the facade to get to the panel but LG has very tight fitting of the dispensing unit. So, I called APPro for some feedback, and Holly was able to locate the LG manual & forwarded it to us electronically. It was most helpful, for the dispensing part needed to be pulled in order to get to the control part. The repair was finished over the weekend, and all functionality is back in order, except the facade will need to be adhered back to the grid. Read More...
