Colin D Orlando , FL June 26, 2015 Appliance: LG Washer WM2016CW My lg washer stopped working with a pop sound and saw some smoke tried to make an appointment to get it fixed but no one had any available Was going to purchase another one, had it in my cart but decided to take a look inside my washer before completing purchase, I figured can't really make it worse. Took the cover off and noticed the main control board in area where I noticed smoke. Disconnected all the wires and removed the board, looked up the part on this site and ordered a replacement. Arrived quickly. Installed new board and replaced cover, pushed the power button and it worked like new.
