Bryan A Rockwall , TX January 30, 2016 Burner wouldn't turn off This job was easy really only need a screwdriver to complete. After installing the board I found that some of the connectors on the board were upside down, so I pulled the board back out to compare with the old one. After comparing the boards some connectors were upside down but I noticed that the components on the board were also flipped as they were numbered the same. I installed the new board again and flipped the 3 cables and put everything back together. New board works great so far. Rock K Greencastle , IN April 07, 2015 Appliance: Model LRE30453ST F 1 code on display I reviewed the information online on AppliancePartsPros.com, and the service manual attached to the back of my LG stove/oven. I first verified that the oven temperature sensor was within spec by checking the resistance which was at the 1085 ohm target. I then ordered the replacement control board overnight and was able to install it the Saturday before our planned Easter Sunday dinner with family. The only problems were that some of the plugs were small and hard to remove as they were locked in place with very small clips (I had to use a small screw driver to gently work them out of their slots), and some of the plugs on the new board were upside down compared to the old board, but I was able to figure this out while reviewing the new board as compared to the old board. The stove/oven works like a charm, and saved me a $95 service call plus time and materials charges (I'm guessing $250 minimum for the repair), and we would not have had the stove/oven available for Easter Sunday dinner as they could not schedule me until the Tuesday after. First time I've ever tried fixing a major appliance, but this will be my first choice going forward. Jerry V Dallas , TX November 30, 2015 Appliance: LG Electric Range LRE30451SB The digital mother board on my lg range had some circuits not working We ordered the part for my range model number, which we received two days after ordering. The video showing how to replace the part was very helpful. The hardest part was getting the back off the range and some of the plugs were difficult to release. Replacing the part was just as the video showed and was very easy. All burners, ovens, clocks and timers are working now. It was a very good experience. Read More...
