Matthew D Howard Beach , NY June 13, 2021 Appliance: Model GTS18HGNDRWW Code if ice maker fan failure, fan ran a few seconds shut off then code came in It was suggested to replace both the fan/motor assembly and main circuit board since one can ruin the other. I replaced both the main control board and ice fan motor assembly as per the very well detailed instructional video by Appliance Parts Pros. Although the job was just part changing, the video saved much frustration trying to figure out how to access the fan/motor assembly. This motor is not merely a directly driven 120V motor, it is an-electronically driven motor by the control board and operates with varying voltages with feed back to the control board.
