Description

The Power Cord Assembly is an OEM part for LG washing machines. It allows the washer to receive power from the wall outlet during operation. The power cord assembly consists of the wiring that transmits electricity from the power source and into the washer's electrical control panel. 

Causes of a bad power cord assembly can include fraying of the insulation over time, cracks or breaks in the wiring, or loose connections that disrupt the flow of electricity. 

Symptoms of a bad power cord assembly include:

  • The washer not receiving power and failing to turn on
  • Buzzing or humming noises coming from the power cord area  
  • Tripped breakers or blown fuses
