Richard M Seattle , WA June 27, 2017 Appliance: Model WM2032HS (ATTEEUS) Display panel died The control board on my LG washing machine died. An LG authorized repairman said that a replacement part was unavailable. Next day, I found the part on AppliancePartPros.com. FedEx delivered it two days later, and with just a bit of effort, I managed to remove and replace the dead control board myself. The only tricky thing is getting the new board in exactly the right place -- if you overtighten the screws, the board presses up against the backside of the keypad and multiple buttons are permanently pressed which prevents the board (and the washer) from working. But if you undertighten the screws too much, then the gap between the board and the keypad is too great and the buttons don't connect when you press. I ended up putting a thin rubber shim between the board and the keypad to hold it in exactly the right place with tightened screws.
