Description

The Rail Assembly is an OEM part for LG dishwashers. This rail assembly supports the upper dish rack and guides it smoothly in and out of the dishwasher.

Causes of a bad rail assembly include wear from repeated rack extension and retraction over many cycles, damage due to overloading racks, or impact that has bent rail components out of proper alignment.

Symptoms of a bad rail assembly include:

  • Upper rack not smoothly rolling in and out of the dishwasher
  • Binding, catching, or loud noises when operating the upper rack
  • Rack unable to fully extend or retract as designed
  • Rack unable to stay securely locked in closed position

This LG part is also compatible with some Kenmore models.
