Steve C Caledonia , WI September 23, 2015 Appliance: LG Microwave Oven LMV1630ST Glass fell out of its retainers and plastic clips holding the frame assembly to the door broke off Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. All of the other parts I bought and replaced were a waste of money. I figured since I had them I might as well install them anyways. Easier than sending them back since I had the whole thing apart anyways. The part I really needed was no longer available, the outside door. The glass reinstalled into the retainers in the door without a problem. At least everything is very clean now !! James M Harwinton , CT April 20, 2016 Lg microwave with a broken door handle Fairly easy fix. Carefully removed the back plate on the door which could be easily cracked. A putty knife worked well. Once removed unscrew the old handle and install the new one. Needed pliers to hold the broken handle piece to unscrew it.
