Elizabeth E Laurel , MD March 24, 2016 Broken shelf glasd Appliance Parts was the only one of three companies that did it right. When the glass in our rather new LG fridge broke, I called the number listed in the manual for replacement parts and was put through to their "authorized distributor" for our area. The authorized distributor sent us the wrong part (entirely different dimensions) with a packing slip identifying the right part number. Because this is not a review of that company (which would be horrible, I won't share the gruesome details of trying to get them to determine whether they even had the right part in stock to send as a replacement). The next company thay I called which claimed to have the right part number couldn't tell me the dimensions of the part they have in stock but could tell me the shipping dimensions - which were an inch shorter than the correct glass is. When I called Appliance Parts, I was greeted by a friendly and helpful staff person (I think her name is Kamesha) who was able to tell me the dimensions of the part they would send as well as discuss all of the shipping options with me relevant to my location. She and Appliance Parts are fabulous and we are very happy now to have the right replacement glass in our refrigerator! I also ordered two-door baskets that had cracked. It was easy to order and had the parts within two days. It took about 5 mins to unpack and replace. Read More...
