Description

The suspension rod assembly is a spring-loaded rod that connects the washing machine's outer tub to the cabinet frame, absorbing vibration and movement during the spin cycle to keep the machine stable. Most washing machines use four of these rods, one at each corner of the tub. If your washer is shaking violently, walking across the floor, or making a loud banging noise during the spin cycle, worn or broken suspension rods are a frequent cause.
