Mark N Downingtown , PA December 22, 2021 Appliance: LG Electric Range LSE4613ST/00 Broke lever supporter on LG oven control knob. Replaced the cheap plastic lever supporter with another LG OEM cheap plastic lever supporter. I should have bought two as I can see this problem happening again. Job was a simple fix and only required a Phillips head screwdriver. I did not need to remove any connections as there was enough room and wire to pull out the oven control assembly and make the repair. One word of caution is to be careful as the sheet metal internal cover and bottom of the control knob panel is razor sharp. Would have given this five stars if the LG lever supporter was made of metal instead of plastic. Ernest R Whittier , CA October 10, 2024 Oven knob broke off I took off the front control panel with a Phillips screwdriver. I used a mirror to locate some of the screws under the panel. Being handy and common sense helped a lot. I am very experienced with fixing stuff but will admit that i did get a bit frustrated. A second set of hands was helpful but not necessary. I took off the shroud that goes around the knob and that was a mistake. It was difficult to put back on and was not required to fix the problem. TAKE PHOTOS AS YOU PROGRESS and don’t lose the small spring like I did. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Screwdrivers
