Description

This NTC thermistor assembly is a temperature sensor that monitors the evaporator coil temperature inside a room air conditioner. It sends temperature readings to the control board so the unit can cycle the compressor on and off to maintain the desired room temperature. Replace this sensor if the air conditioner runs continuously without cycling, fails to cool properly, or displays an error code related to temperature sensing.
