Joseph L Johnstown , PA January 03, 2015 Appliance: Model LG LSC1410 Microwave oven totally inoperable no interior light First removed the outer cabinet cover to access the inside electronics and components . Removed and checked the fuse which seemed the most likely to fail. Then noticed the thermostat on top had obvious burns on each of the terminals. Removed and check for continuity and tested open. Ordered replacement and tested new part and checked closed. Installed replacement, replaced cabinet and checked operation. Works normally. Note: you need a special star wrench to remove the hardware that hold the cabinet.
