Cross Reference Information

Part Number AJU75853902 replaces AP7233698.

Description

This valve assembly controls the gear-driven expansion mechanism that regulates flow in the appliance. Replacing a worn valve restores consistent operation and resolves intermittent flow or actuation issues. What it does:

• Directs and times fluid/air flow through the gear expansion mechanism to enable proper cycle operation.
• Restores consistent actuation when a worn or damaged valve causes intermittent or weak performance.
• Prevents sticking or leak-related symptoms caused by degraded internal valve components.
• Works as the mechanical interface between the drive gear and the appliance's flow control system.

What's included: One valve assembly (gear expansion) as shown. Install notes:

• Confirm power and water supply are turned off and the appliance is unplugged before starting any repair.
• Handle the assembly gently; avoid forcing plastic gear interfaces or overtightening fasteners.
• Inspect adjacent seals, hoses, and mounting tabs; replace any damaged parts to prevent future leaks.
