Roy W Winterville , NC August 02, 2026 Appliance: Fimco Lawn & Garden Trailer Sprayer LG-1500-303 Water leak from inlet valve Replaced the inlet valve with some difficulty. First problem was getting off the back cover off to access it, no rhyme or reason to why they made that so difficult. Second problem was getting the inlet valve off. It was a bit tricky to maneuver. Eventually the new part went on with some tricky maneuvering again. One thing I noted was there were no screws (2) that secured the part in place. Besides the one hose and three hard plastic holes the part slid into, there were two plastic clips that kind of keep it in place. It can't move a lot, but I can see where the shaky movement inherent with a washing machine could jiggle it enough to cause some degree of separation of the part with the inlet connections. So, I am not entirely convinced the part was bad. There are two holes where screws should have been which would ensure no loosening of the part with its connections. The replacement video I watched showed these securing screws being removed. I highly recommend doing this if your machine is the same as our LG. Read More...
