Mike K Saint Charles , IL June 30, 2017 Appliance: LG Gas Range Double Oven LDG3017ST F9 error Simply followed the troubleshooting instructions that were taped to the oven back panel.Needed a continuity tester to confirm the gas valve solenoid was dead. Replaced gas valve. It was a little fussy to get the brass connectors back on due to minor alignment problems but being patient helped alot. Used Natural Gas rated Teflon tape (odd orangey brown color) on the gas connector threads to ensure a good fit that sealed properly (don't use the regular white stuff for plumbing repairs). Used two wenches to (1 to hold the valve fitting and the other to screw the connector) reconnect everything and it was done. Read More...
