Lg MJX41178908 Water Inlet Valve OEM Part

First I replaced the filter thinking it was the problem, but that was not the case. Next was replace water supply valve at the back of the refrigerator. It was very easy. The only thing that was in question was how to get the refrigerator side line off of the existing valve. There is a plastic slide clip that you remove and pull the line out and press the line back into the port it came out of. It was a very simple project and took about 20 minutes.

"Googled" leak problems and determined that the inlet valve was the source of the problem. Found a you tube video on how to replace. Found the replacement part on your website. "Taa Daa"

The water valve was replaced and now Water is flowing into my appliance.

Very easy fix... Unplug power cord, remove 6 - 8 screws from back cover. If facing the front of the fridge, the water valve is located in the bottom rear left side of the fridge. Shut off the water feed to the fridge. Then use an open end wrench to remove the water line that provides the water TO the fridge, then remove the screw that holds the valve in place. Unplug the power plug (blue & red) from the old water valve. Next remove the white tube water feed - there is a black ring that pushes out, then you use 2 fingers to push up the white ring and pull out the line. That's It - Valve is now out. Do the reverse to put it back together and you will have fixed the slow water problem. Job took me about 20 minutes, but with vacuuming everything and the clean up - allow 45 minutes. If you can use a screw driver and a wrench you can do this job yourself.

Looked on line and saw some of your videos on possible causes. Ordered replacement water valve and new filter. This solved the problem. Now water dispenser and ice maker work great!! Thanks for the trouble shooting videos and replacement parts. Installation video was a great help.
