John H Lake Worth , FL March 28, 2014 Appliance: Model LG # LSC27931ST Water stopped flowing from the door water dispenser and ice maker. I viewed the self help video on You Tube and checked the water pressure first. Once the water pressure was determined to be fine I ordered a new water inlet valve as recommended from the video. LG supplier did not have the recommended part and after checking on-line I found Appliance Parts Pros had just what I needed. The video from Appliance Plus Pros showed step by step on how to replace the water inlet valve. It took me approximately 15 minutes to remove the old one and install the new one. Looked for the part on the Internet. Found two companies selling the valve. One was selling the part and said it required a harness which was not in stock and their software said it was not compatible with my model refrigerator. Your company had the same valve, no mention of the need for a harness and it was compatible with my refrigerator so I ordered it. It arrived on a Saturday in less than two days after I placed the order and I installed it the same day. One Valve was Leaking so i only had to Replace one of them.It only take 15-30 minutes. Just remember to on plug the frig. Jeffery C Stevensville , MI May 25, 2017 The water flow was very slow out of the water dispenser as well as the ice fill which caused water to dribble into the already made ice and freeze it into a big block After watching some Youtube videos and researching, I figured it was most likely because of this water inlet valve. I ordered the appropriate one from here and replaced it. Wallah! Just like new.
