Dryer won't start or runs with door open? This door switch kit restores safety shutdown function. Simple clip-in repair takes 15-30 minutes. Video included.
The timer knob simply pulls off the shaft with a solid, steady pull. Cleaned the timer cavity of lint/dust buildup. Aligned the keying flat of the shaft and knob and pushed the new knob on with careful, steady pressure until it was obviously seated. No tools required other than a vacuum. The door switch would sometimes not shut the dryer off when the door was opened. New switch came with new fast-on connectors. I ordered the parts on Wednesday and they arrived on Thursday! Wow, that was F-A-S-T !! With some help from my electrician in training son, we were able to swap out the dual element and new rocker switch in about 30 mins! Works perfectly!! Thank you Appliance Parts Pros!! Read more
