Adjustable leveling leg that stabilizes and balances your range. Replace if cracked, broken, bent, or threads are stripped from wear or impact damage.
The problem was partly caused because the original legs were at full extension. The replacement legs were longer than the originals and were more secure at the needed length. One difficulty was that the threaded base plate where the legs screwed in had been damaged and had to be reshaped, I was able to reshape the sockets with some effort, to allow the legs to thread in, though one remained slightly angled. Could not level stove. Front leveling legs had pieces broken out where leg contacted floor. Back leveling legs were worn and did not stay at corrected height when stove returned to full weight on floor. Replaced both front and back leveling legs, and stove was able to be leveled. I price shopped for the missing adjuster feet for our big box discounted slide in range. Most local appliance parts suppliers want $12 - $15 per foot... I needed 3, applianceparts.com had them for 4.50 plus shipping. I saved enough to go out to eat and avoid using the new range for another day. Read more
