Kenneth H North Bellmore , NY June 07, 2015 Appliance: Model MAGIC CHEF MCBR1010W Fridge warm freezer cold bad defrost timer Un Plugged Refrigerator. Defrosted the fridge. Ice formation blocking air flow to refrigerator compartment. Fan working. Removed old timer located behind protective box in lower left hand back of this unit. Replaced with new defrost timer matching color of wires to color coded strip on top of the prongs of the new unit. ( white to white pink to pink etc.) Turned timer on ( one click) manually with small flat blade screw driver. Plugged fridge back in, tested for 24 hrs. Freezer cold Fridge cold. So far so good. Simple repair. Fridge is cycling on and off as it should. Thermostat seems to be working.
