Description

This OEM replacement part is the height adjustment bracket assembly for lawnmowers. The height adjustment bracket assembly is the part that allows for the mower's height settings to be adjusted, allowing the mower to cut shorter or longer depending on the user's preferences. If the height adjustment bracket is no longer functioning and the mower deck is only able to sit in one position, then it will need to be replaced. Luckily this is a relatively simple repair. To replace the bracket, begin by locating it near the base of the mower. Once located, remove the mounting bolts that hold the bracket in place. Once removed, place the new bracket in a position where it is aligned with the bolt opening of the mower. Once aligned, fasten the bolts to hold the new bracket assembly in place. This genuine replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with MTD brand mowers.
