Description

This replacement foam air filter is an authentic OEM replacement part for both lawn tillers and cultivators. For a combustion engine to run effectively, the carburetor must maintain a balance of fuel and air. Therefore, the engine takes in air from the outside and mixes it with fuel. However, if the air is dusty, it will clog the carburetor and cause the engine to seize up. To prevent this from happening, manufacturers add an air filter like this one to capture any dust or debris. When lawn appliances are in use, they often kick a lot of dirt into the air. This means that air filters get a lot of use every time an operator uses their appliance. Eventually, the filter will reach max capacity, and air will no longer pass through it.
