Description

This is a Briggs and Stratton air filter for walk behind mowers. It protects the engine from dirt and other debris, keeping equipment running at peak performance. Air filters should be replaced annually at minimum, and should be checked as part of routine maintenance on a mower. A dirty or damaged air filter can potentially cause a host of issues in the mower, from overheating to engine damage. A visual inspection should be enough to tell if the air filter needs to be replaced.To install this part, remove the knobs and cover from the filter's housing. If necessary, remove the foam pre-cleaner, and then the filter, itself. Clean the area of any dirt or debris, then slot the new filter into place.
