Description

This genuine MTD air vane cover plate can be used as a replacement part for the small engine of a log splitter or a chipper shredder. The purpose of the air vane cover plate in a log splitter or chipper shredder is twofold: to prevent dirt, debris, pebbles, and other such materials from entering the infrastructure of the engine and causing corrosive damage, and to prevent fuel and oil from leaking out of the engine.This OEM replacement air vane cover plate might have to be ordered if there is damage to the air vane cover plate that prevents it from performing either of its functions.
