Description

The pivot arm is a piece of the front wheel axels on a standard walk-behind push lawn mower. This small, silver shaft supports the front wheels as they turn and maneuver around the mowing area. The small size of this part makes for easy repairs if something breaks.In the event of an over-rotation of the fulcrum, a pivot arm may bend or malfunction. Pivot arms can suffer damage from lawn mowing accidents that cause the arm to become mishappen and ill-fitting with the current structure. If the front wheel is damaged and a repair is needed, a socket wrench will suffice to help make the replacement. The pivot arm can be replaced by removing the damaged wheel and the existing pivot arm and reattaching the new pivot arm with a bolt and washer.
