Description

This air filter housing is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in lawnmowers, trimmers, and other outdoor lawn and garden equipment. The air filter housing contains the air filter which protects the engine from dirt and debris that normally accompany working with power equipment. The housing sits on top of the air filter to protect it from unnecessary dirt and debris.Over time, exposure to the elements and normal wear and tear can cause the housing to become brittle and crack or break. Flying debris can damage it as well. When this happens, the air filter housing should be replaced. A screwdriver and some work gloves and goggles are needed. Remove the air filter and then remove the screws holding the housing in place and discard it. Install the new housing and put a clean air filter inside. Reinstall the cover and it's done.This air filter housing is made of durable plastic and sold individually. It does not come with the screws. This housing is designed for use with mowers and trimmers manufactured by MTD.
