Description

This is a replacement belt keeper for walk-behind lawn mowers and riding lawn tractors. The belt keeper protects the drive belt from possible damage, and keeps the belt in the pulley system in its loop form. The belt keeper also prevents against twists that can occur in the drive belt. Over time and with use, a belt keeper may need to be replaced. A damaged belt keeper could result in damage to other components, as well, so be sure to replace it soon after damage has been noticed. Replacing the belt keeper involves some disassembly of the machine.
