Description

This chipper blade is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in chipper shredders. The blade is the workhorse of the machine, chopping the limbs and sticks into tiny particles as they pass through the machine. As the machine is used, the blades will become dull and need sharpened. Eventually, the blades may develop cracks or become so worn that they need to be replaced for the chipper to function efficiently. Chipper blades should be periodically inspected.Wear safety gear and remove the chipper's spark plug before working on the blades. Remove the bolts holding the hopper in place and set the bolts and hopper aside. Remove the housing protecting the rotor assembly and chipper blades. Remove the bolts holding the chipper blades in place. Discard the old blades. Install the new blades and reassemble the chipper. Put the spark plug back in and test the blades.This chipper blade is made of heavy-duty metal and is sold as an individual part. It does not include connecting bolts. This blade is designed for use in chippers manufactured by MTD and Troy-Bilt.
