Description

This is a chute crank bracket for a snow blower. The bracket holds and positions the chute in the proper direction so that snow is thrown at the desired angle. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually. This part is compatible with several brands, including Craftsman, Huskee, Ryobi, Troy-Bilt, Yard Machines, and Yard Man.If the crank bracket is rusted, damaged, or bent, it can affect the efficiency of the snow blower and throw the snow in the wrong direction or clog the chute. Replacing the bracket is fairly simple and will help the snow to be thrown efficiently and without clogging. For proper placement of the chute, remove it from the bracket and be sure that it moves easily. When attached, if the teeth do not mesh correctly, the bracket will need to be readjusted or replaced. This is easily done by loosening the bolts and moving the bracket until the teeth mesh. This will allow the chute to turn correctly. If the teeth will still not mesh, detach the chute and then remove the bad bracket and install the new bracket.
