Description

This is a genuine OEM idler arm bracket sourced directly from the manufacturer; it is used on various lawnmowers and garden tractors to support the idler arm, which applies tension to the blade drive belt and allows the belt to turn. If the idler arm bracket bends or breaks, the idler arm will not stay in place and the blades will not turn. The idler arm is essential to the mower being able to do its job and cut the lawn. The idler arm support brackets can be damaged by debris and stationary objects encountered while in operation.A wrench set is needed to remove and reinstall the idler arm support bracket. Before starting, remove the fuel from the gas tank and take the spark plug out. The idler arm support bracket is located under the idler arm and is found on the deck of the mower. Detach the deck from the lawnmower to access the idler arm support bracket. Remove the damaged support bracket and install the new one with the screws from the original bracket. Reinstall the mower deck, spark plug, and fuel.This idler arm bracket is made of heavy-duty metal and sold as an individual unit.
