Description

Gas-operated blowers have a primer bulb that is used to send a mixture of gas and air to the carburetor to start the engine. This primer bulb is attached to the blower with a primer bracket. If this bracket becomes damaged or loose and falls off the blower, the primer bulb will not be secure and could become damaged. It is essential to perform routine inspections on outdoor equipment to check component connections. If the primer bracket is found to be loose or in disrepair, it should be removed and replaced.To replace the primer bracket, look at the primer bulb from the back and locate the screws holding it onto the bracket. Loosen the screws to remove the primer bulb from the bracket. Remove the screws holding the bracket to the blower and take the bracket off the blower. Install the new bracket and tighten the screws. Reattach the primer bulb to the bracket. This primer bracket is a metal part that is sold individually.
